Congratulations to our Draw winners!
A big thank you to everyone who attended the 2012 Spring HandMade Market and filled out a ballot ... We had the most artisans ever and the most attenders ever!!! What a great weekend it was!!!
Also, a big thanks goes to our wonderful artisans for their gracious benevolence. We had such a great response, we have decided to draw three winners instead of just one ... we think it's nice to share and spread the joy of winning around.
Without further delay, we'd like to congratulate our three draw prize winners ... Gordana Sutton, Kelly Watkinson and Cathy Scaletta ... we'll notify you by email how to get your prizes!!! (Or, you can email us first!)

Featured Artisan ... Kaunis Designs Modern Wirework Jewellery
Canadian designer Jennifer Newman channels her artistic expression through her love for unique jewellery.
Her inspiration is derived from organic form found in semi-precious natural stones and pearls. Over her years of style development, this has taken many forms experimenting with traditional beading techniques, fine macramé and has now evolved to silver wirework producing beautiful yet simplistic contemporary shapes in a variety of collections.
Never satisfied with the ordinary, Jennifer is always on a quest to create unexpected designs, that bring beauty and inspiration to everyday life. Her works appeal to the modern woman who appreciates the timelessness and classic simplicity her designs offer them.
We're terribly excited that the Kaunis Designs Spring 2012 line will be at the Spring 2012 HandMade Market ... we are in love with Ms. Newman's work!!!

Featured Artisan ... JC Fresh
Janine Child (the “JC” in JC Fresh) has been working as a professional make-up artist for more than 18 years ... 11 of which were spent with the well-known leading edge company, MAC Cosmetics. Her love affair with make-up and body products began when she was a young girl.
Janine’s latest innovation is a line of handmade bar soaps, body butters and scrubs, lotion bars and lip balms which she personally makes, by hand, in small batches to ensure quality and freshness.
We’re currently testing the Mango & Pink Grapefruit Whipped Shea Body Butter and the Lemongrass and Lavender Body Scrub / Bath Salt ... delicious, delicious, delicious!
JC Fresh will be at the Spring Handmade Market at Good Earth Food and Wine Co. on May 12/13th ... you’ll definitely want to get your hands (umm ... body!) on some of this stuff!!!

Featured Artisan - Tapestry Beadwork
Rachel Forgeron's work pretty much speaks for itself ... bead-woven jewellery including earrings, necklaces and bracelets in unique, one-of-a-kind pieces!
In addition to her beadwork, Rachel designs sterling-wrapped pendants and wire necklaces and very popular bird's nest necklaces.
We're excited to welcome Tapesty Beadwork to our 2nd Annual Spring HandMade Market at The Good Earth Food and Wine Co. this Mother's Day Weekend (May 12 + 13).

Featured Artisan - Kym Brundritt
Kym began her career in art, crayons in hand, at the age of two, when any available surface became her canvas, curiosity her inspiration, and boundless creativity her never ending motivational force.
This early beginning laid the foundation for her present work which is created primarily with acrylic on canvas. Her pieces may explode with a vibrant visual feast of colour, exciting the viewer with this rich offering, or it may guide the observer through an atmospheric landscape of soft mystical, ethereal wonder. Insightfully heartfelt, definitely humorous, words of wisdom often become an essential part of her pieces.
Kym believes that we are all artists at heart (was do we!) and is truly delighted when her work evokes an emotional response, such as a smile, a knowing nod, or a chuckle.
We're super excited to welcome the art of Kym Brundritt (and Kim herself) to the Spring HandMade Market this coming Mother's Day Weekend (May 12 + 13) at Good Earth Food and Wine Co.
